This entertaining and inspirational historical documentary traces the life of 82 year old Jimmy Gentry from his Depression-era boyhood in historic Franklin, TN, to his military service in WWII, to his life-altering experience as one of the first liberating soldiers through the gates at the infamous Dachau concentration camp, and the living legacy he continues to leave today. Filmed in High Definition, the film travels to Germany for Gentry's first return visit to Dachau, 62 years after having been there as a 19 year old G.I.
