Paradise Palau

2013 | Documentary | Semi-Finalist

The Island of Palau sits on the eastern most threshold of Micronesia. The origins of the Palauan peoples are a swath of misty legends and veiled histories. But in the past twenty years, Palau has become world famous for their Rock Islands and spectacular ocean dives. Though Palau has an international reputation as an exotic playground for thrill seekers, John and Jamie Zimmer did not come to Palau seeking adventure but with a passion to be a part of the people.

This is a story that ?oats beneath the surface, to who the Palauan’s are and why the gospel is finding root here. The story of the gospel on Palau is a story about relationships. It is not a program or a perfectly structured building plan. Rather, it is a story about conversations that lead to conversions. Discover how this message of hope has organically spread from one neighborhood home to the rest of the island. Experience a fresh vision of how the light of the gospel has started to penetrate deep into the islands of Palau.
