Ruby: God's Workmanship
2005 | Documentary | Semi-Finalist

She carried Scripture in her apron pocket and memorized while she rested. She memorized when she rode her horse in the meadow. While she traveled or while she waited, Ruby Thompson memorized whole books of the Bible. God molded Ruby into His ambassador. When she began to teach ladies Bible classes, she transferred the disciplines of Scripture memory prayer and witnessing for Jesus Christ to her students. Rubys teaching proved powerful because memorized Scripture punctuated her speech. Teaching until the age of ninety-eight, she brought thousands of women to faith in Christ, greatly impacting their husbands, children, and community. This documentary interweaves narration, dramatic reenactment, and interviews to tell the story of Gods work accomplished through Ruby Thompson.
