Time Warp

2004 | Narrative | Semi-Finalist

For several years, a young scientist has been secretively working on a creation in his garage. Never even dreaming of its wild capabilities, he made the mistake of informing others of his invention before he had the chance to test it. Little did he know that on the day he tested it, he would look upon the world as it was four thousand years ago ... the years following the confusion of the languages at Babylon, the years before the world was largely populated. Once thought to be impossible, light speed has now been exceeded through a method known as quantum tunneling. Unusual creatures, descendents of their ancestors on the ark, prowl about through the jungles. Strange, new mysteries lurk behind every corner. Now this group of five companions must face a whole different world while, at all times, wondering if they will forever be imprisoned in the past.
