It’s the true story of a young girl in 1970s communist China who befriends two American missionaries and joins their illegal Bible study. They meet in a secret warehouse location to avoid imprisonment. Then, one night, while waiting for a young boy to arrive at the study, some soldiers storm the secret location with guns drawn. With no way to escape, the group is given two options. They must spit on the Bible in order to leave with their lives. Or, if they refuse, they will be shot in cold blood. With her newfound belief, the young girl must find the courage to face death and stand firm for what she believes in.
