The Narrow Path is the story of the late Silon Dkhar, the producer’s grandmother, who died in December 2003. It shares the moments of her life through her own recollections from footage shot over the years, together with old archival photographs, telling the tale of how she came to be the first convert to Christianity in her family, bringing up five children in the faith, as a single mother, in the ever-changing climate of the north east of India during the greater part of the twentieth century. The journey of faith by which she lived her life decided and changed the landscape of her own life and of her children’s lives forever.
